The Lane Five Investment Process is driven through a collaborative approach led by an experienced leader working with a team of Analysts. Each analyst is a Generalist, who works with the Portfolio Manager to find ideas, integrate process, value securities and optimize the portfolio.

Lisa O'Dell Rapuano, CFA
Founder and Portfolio Manager:
Lisa founded Lane Five in January, 2007. She managed a long/short equity hedge fund for Matador Capital Management for over two years prior to founding Lane Five, and spent over ten years at Legg Mason Capital Management. At Legg Mason, she was the Director of Research and portfolio manager of the Legg Mason Special Investment Trust. She co-managed this fund with Bill Miller from 1997-2000. As sole manager of the fund from 2001-2003 she achieved top-decile returns as tracked by Lipper. Lisa graduated from Yale in 1988 and received her CFA designation in 1994.

Anthony J. Rettig, CFA
Founding Member, Analyst
Tony started at Lane Five at its founding as an analyst. Prior to that, Tony was an analyst with Lisa at Matador Capital Management where he was integral in creating a sophisticated valuation framework and detailed modeling process. His work at Raymond James before coming to Matador earned him the fastest promotion in the firm's history to Senior Research Associate. Tony graduated from the University of Virginia's McIntire School of Commerce in 2001 and earned his CFA designation in 2004.

Erica D. Niemann
Analyst
Erica joined Lane Five in the summer of 2007. She was an Associate Analyst in the Equity and Capital Markets Research Group of Mercantile Capital Advisors (now PNC Advisors) for nearly two years prior to that. Erica graduated from Loyola College in Maryland in 2005 and is a Level II Candidate for the CFA designation.
